You can arrive late and leave early. Your matches will be arranged by the Japan Pickleball League rating system (similar to DUPR) for competitive play at the appropriate level. Please wear something BLUE to the event. How does "Rated Open Play" work? Match draws are assigned based on players' ratings. After every match is completed, please report your final score. You can then queue up for the next match which will be assigned based on your updated ratings from the previous match. PRIZES 10 x Proton Sports paddles to the top rated male and female player every hour (no repeat winners). $200 USD in cash prizes. 7 PM - 2 x Proton Sports paddles to the top rated male and female player. 8 PM - 2 x Proton Sports paddles to the top rated male and female player. 9 PM - 2 x Proton Sports paddles to the top rated male and female player. 10 PM - 2 x Proton Sports paddles to the top rated male and female player. 11 PM - 2 x Proton Sports paddles to the top rated male and female player. 11 PM - 2 x $100 to the top male and female player. The top 2 male and female players in competitive open play (by rating) will play an exhibition match against the winners of the Invitational Tournament (hosted by Racket Sports Tokyo) happening alongside open play and be considered for gear sponsorship from Proton Sports.
